It has a great fresh taste with a little peppery back finish and mouth feel. We use it as a finishing oil on every thing. Fresh tomatoes and basil are great! We use less expensive virgin olive for cooking and baking.

  2. Tina

I love it on crusty bread, drizzled on pasta and makes an amazing salad dressing. I truly love the full rich taste.

  3. Samantha

It’s good quality olive oil. Sufficiently rich with a bit of characteristic peppery aftertaste, though on the milder end. Producer’s care for the product really shows though! Probably pricey for everyday cooking but also probably worth it anyway.

  4. Richard

This Olive Oil is one that I can use on anything. It has a gentle, clean grassy note that isn’t overpowering.
I drizzle it (heavily) on my gluten free toast with avocado, goat feta, and balsamic vinegar. Subtly delicious.

  5. Dorothy

Excellent flavor & color with a hint of nuttiness. Smooth on the pallet without bitter after-taste. Great as dipping oil when savory herbs are added, perfect on hummus. Excellent flavor when used for cooking.

  6. Rita

I’ve used this oil in 3 summer salads along with roasted vegetables. It has a smooth buttery flavor but doesn’t over power the rest of the ingredients like some olive oils do. I save it when I want the flavor and not to cook with unless it will add to the flavor of the dish. Its also not real expensive like some other oils. Good value. I highly recommend it.

  7. Rose

I have stocked up on good quality olive oils for the coming year. I did some research and finally chose about 4 different companies to see for myself by comparison which one I would like the most, above and beyond having confidence in the quality these companies provide in their product. By far, I enjoy the smoothness and pleasant taste of Sonoma Farm oil above the rest. The others are great, but Sonoma is the one I will use for my salads, antipasta, and artisan breads. I am very happy with the customer service as well. I can really see why they take pride in their product and company.

  8. John

This is a richer olive oil than I buy for everyday use so I use it as is; on salads, on cheese (with fruit and crackers), on hard boiled eggs, etc. I want to be able to taste the oil so I try to use it where the oil flavor works with the food rather than competing.

  9. James

The olive oil was amazing, but the first package came broken. Thankfully they quickly replaced the item.

  10. Jan

great tasting Olive Oil, no rancid taste, very good…..

  11. Ted

I used the this olive oil in several different ways. When I first opened it, just to check it out I spilled a spoonful onto a small plate and dipped some french bread in it. I knew then that I didn’t want to waste it on salad dressing, but I did, anyway, mixing it with some balsamic vinegar and a clove of garlic and poured it on some greens from my garden along with some blue cheese and garden arugula. This morning i lightly coated a skillet with the olive oil and fried a couple corn tortillas. Then I poured a generous portion of the oil in the pan before adding refried pinto beans. No cheese. The oil was rich enough

This is a fantastic and versatile olive oil. It’s now my go-to to use and two of my friends decided the same after we compared the taste of five olive oils we pulled together from our kitchens (and none of the others were shabby). This was the clear winner.

The taste and smell of this oil is wonderful. I ended up using most of this for soap actually and it turned out lovely

They always ship quickly ! I’ve Been using their oils for over a year for my company and they have never disappointed!

I like this oil. It has a good viscosity and color. It has a very good flavour: almost a buttery taste. We have used to make salad dressings and drizzle it on veggies and appetizers. We use to sautee vegetables and have used to sautee shrimp and chicken and to brown beef. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the product opening. After opeining, it doesn’t actually have a spout. It is not easy to pour small amounts from the tin and because of the closure, it is messy and hold some oil in the top. Great that I also received a free tin of oil. Thank you
